October kit with Ulrika!

It´s time to do my reveal for the October kit! As so often my projects came out totally different from each other.

On my first layout I used a light background. I used the Stencil, keys and stamp from the Mixed-media kit. The flowers I used are from the Flower add-on kit and you find the brown letters in the Embellie kit. Papers and stickers are from the Main kit.
From own stash: Gesso, ribbon, black stamp pad.

I totally fell in love with the fun and very pretty flakes. As you see I used it a lot! I used the Emboss-it Dabber on my chipboard and then I used the Orbit Olive Gold Embossing powder. I added the Embossing powder on almost all paper edges also. My flowers are from the Mixed-media kit and Embellie kit. The large Butterfly from the Main kt got company by some cute birds from the Embellie kit.

I was very inspired by all cute images in this kit! I made three large tags. I like the shape of a tag and if you make them large they can pass for a card. On the blue one I used a image from the Maja Design papers. I used one Butterfly as embellishment. The tag in the middle has a image from the die-cut package. I also used two flowers from the Flower add-on kit. The one on the right got two different die-cuts and I used 3d pads. The lace from the Main kit gives it a vintage look.
From own stash: doilies, dies, 3d pads.

This is my last project for this post. You will also see my take on the sketch at the first of October.
Here I went for a green and yellow combination. I also added a tiny bit of blue but the flowers work well because they have yellow prints on them.
I used the stencil and Butterflies from the MM kit and flowers from the Flower add-on kit. The frame and the pearl swirl are from the Embellie kit. Paper, letters and chipboards from the Main kit.
From own stash: Gesso, paint, dies.

Hugs from Ulrika!

September kit with Vicky

Vicky blogging today to share my projects created with the stunningly beautiful and versatile "Nature's Journey" kit. The papers and flowers are to die for... so perfectly coordinated!

Up first is a layout created with C'est Magnifique's September Sketch Challenge. The picture is of my parents on their honeymoon in Barbados (it's amazing that they have this picture!). All of the elements on my layout are from the main kit and the flower add-on. I adore the colours in this kit so much!

I rotated the fantastic sketch like this. Don't forget to enter your interpretation of this beautiful sketch for a chance to win a fantastic prize!

This is a layout about the day after we brought my daughter home... sweet moment between siblings. On this layout I added a doily and a few leaves to complement the amazing kit. The gorgeous blue flowers are in the flower add-on this month (a MUST have add-on in my opinion since I loooove flowers :)

This layout of my kiddos all ready for their very first Calgary Stampede BBQ brings back so many memories. Everything on here is from the main kit and the flower add-on. Don't you just love the rustic feel of these Riddersholm papers?

Next, a card set with a beach feel to them. I used the fantastic ink and beautiful script stamp in the kit on plain white cardstock to create the background. Then, I added several layers of paper from the kit for texture - easy breezy!

Here is another card set, again using the stamp and ink for the background. This set features lots of fussy cutting from the gorgeous papers.

Thanks so much for joining me on the blog today while I share my creations!

September Projects with Cathi

I really loved working with this month's kit! The colors are right up my alley, my favorite combinations of blues and browns!! You will love the beautiful designs in the Riddersholm papers!!!

My first layout is called "Sad", it is a photo of my youngest with the face she made when I asked her to smile for the camera!! She hates having her photo taken but she has a mom that loves to scrapbook, so I took some photos anyway and I actually like the look of this photo, sad face and all! I have used items from the Main Kit, Flower Add On Embellishment Add On, and the Magnifique Mixed Media kit! I even used a mask I got from our July Magnifique Mixed Media Kit, there are a few left now in the store.
From my stash: Molding paste.

I caught my daughter smiling for this layout! I used some of the reds and pinks in the kit for this layout. Again I used the Main KitFlower Add On Embellishment Add On, and the Magnifique Mixed Media kit.

From my stash: twine and gesso.

My eldest daughter loves to fish!! She dragged me and her grandpa out a few times during our trip to the States this summer!! She was determined, but we never did catch a fish!! I focused on browns and blues for this one again and used the

From my stash: twine and molding paste.

I love to make cards as well as layout and I had a great time puttng these cards together with pieces from the kit, I used the resin frames as accents for both of them and some twine from my stash.

From my stash: twine.

My final layout you have seen before, on our September Sketch challenge post, I used items from the  Main KitFlower Add On Embellishment Add On, and the Magnifique Mixed Media kit. I just love the photo of my daughters and husband and found the perfect title on the Kaisercraft die cut: "Home is Where We Can Find Happiness".

From my stash: Molding paste.

I absolutely loved working with this kit, and hope you liked my projects!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
